About the Role
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable EMI/PSO/PSP Regulations, AML/CFT laws, Payment Systems regulations, data protection laws, and consumer protection requirements.
  • Coordinate with regulators for submission of applications, responses to observations, inspections, audits, and periodic reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, circulars, guidelines, and directives and ensure timely implementation within the organization.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AML/CFT, KYC, KYB, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting frameworks.

About the Role

AssanPay is looking for skilled and motivated Tech Support & Integration Specialists to join our growing team.
The role involves assisting merchants with website integrations, API implementation, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance across platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom-built websites.

You will work closely with the development and merchant onboarding teams to ensure merchants experience smooth, error free integrations with AssanPay.

Key Responsibilities

Assist merchants in integrating AssanPay payment gateway on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom built platforms.

Provide real time technical support for API configuration, callback setup, and plugin installation.

Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate fixes with the development team.

Prepare and share integration guides, documentation, and technical walkthroughs.

Work with merchants to test and validate successful transactions.

Maintain logs of support queries and resolutions for internal reporting.

Collaborate with developers to highlight recurring bugs or improvements.

Ensure timely and professional communication with merchants.

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory).

Strong understanding of:

JavaScript

APIs (REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks)

HTML, CSS, and basic PHP

Experience working with WordPress and Shopify (installation, plugin/theme configuration).

Ability to read and understand technical documentation.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Plus Point)

Hands-on experience integrating payment gateways.

Familiarity with Postman, API testing, and debugging tools.

Knowledge of WooCommerce, OpenCart, and other e-commerce platforms.

Understanding of Git / version control.

Basic knowledge of MySQL databases.

Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Probation & Performance Evaluation

All new hires at AssanPay are placed under a three-month probation period. During this time, the employee’s performance, adaptability, and overall contribution are closely evaluated against role-specific expectations. Based on satisfactory performance and demonstrated progress, the employee will be confirmed as a permanent team member at the end of the probation period. In cases where a candidate demonstrates exceptional performance and accelerated growth, the probation period may be reduced to one or two months, at the company’s discretion. If, however, no meaningful improvement or alignment with role requirements is observed during the probation period, AssanPay reserves the right to discontinue employment in accordance with company policy.
